International Academy Website

The official International Academy website contains information applicable to all three campuses as well as information specific to each campus.  

IA East Counseling 

The IA East Counseling Corner is a site maintained by the IA East Counselors.  It contains year-by-year information to help students stay on track at the IA.  It also contains a wealth of additional information to help the IA student be successful.  

Parent Connection (formerly Zangle)    (userid and password required)

MI STAR is the student information system utilized by the International Academy.  The system allows parents to logon and check grades, current assignments and attendance for their student. 

School Messenger    (userid and password required)

School Messenger is an electronic communications system utilized by the Troy School District and the International Academy East.  It allows parents to receive district and school communications electronically through email, voicemail and text messages.  Parents can customize their desired communication methods in the system.  The system also serves as a repository for the broadcast email sent out by Mr. Ryan Brinks as well as communications sent by Kerry Birmingham, Director of Community and Media Relations, Troy School District.  

Enrichments     (userid and password required to view student's schedule and profile)

As an International Academy graduation requirement, students are required to participate in 4 enrichment opportunities.  It is recommended that the student complete two enrichments in both 9th and 10th grade and one enrichment in both 11th and 12th grade.  Enrichments are scheduled outside the normal school schedule / calendar.  Enrichment opportunities include school-organized programs such as activities at the school, domestic trips and international trips; or independent programs offered by organizations recognized by the International Academy, or alternative programs set up by the individual student and approved by the International Academy.  Parents and students can get more information and a list of available enrichments by visiting the Enrichments website.

International Academy East students have access to a multitude of research databases.  Access to the databases is password protected.  Students can obtain a password for the databases by contacting the Media Center Specialist at IA East.
